Local government touches every area of our lives. It is important that the services of the City of Rowlett are cost-effective and hassle-free. As a council member, it will be my job to ensure that the strategic vision of the city focuses on creating a positive experiences for all of our neighbors. This strategic vision must also include consideration for the long-range planning for the City of Rowlett. While it is easier to focus on the goals for the next five years, a responsible local government must also consider the ramifications of current decisions for future Rowlett residents. Finally, it is important that council members listen to people from different backgrounds to ensure that the strategic vision includes all perspectives.
Quality Infrastructure
Quality infrastructure is the foundation for our quality of life. It is important that we continue to keep our good roads good and it is time to invest more in neighborhood streets and alleys.
Support Public Safety
Supporting Public Safety means more than adding additional police officers. Engaging and involving the community through initiatives like community policing and neighborhood watch programs can help promote safety and encourage trust between community members.
Pride in Our Community
Rowlett is a great place to live! We have great amenities like Kids Kingdom Playground, the Wet Zone, great walking trails, and a growing downtown! We can easily hop on DART to go to the "Big City" or we can enjoy a picnic over looking our beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard.
